Been there, done that

One night in a thirty dollar a night hotel room in this little tiny town in the middle of nowhere. We have an absolutely euphoric time. Dervish does beautifully (makes it up every hill, gas mileage about 14 mph, not much hesitation at all). We lay by the pool and have beers, hold hands, make joy in the sun. We buy some books in a little secondhand store and enjoy our very last showers for days and days and days.
